Graduation at BU, 2015

Happy graduation! Prof. Barba flanked by her students Anush Krishnan and Christopher Cooper (holding his baby daughter)

On Saturday, 16 May 2015, the College of Engineering at Boston University celebrated its newly graduated Master's and PhD students. Professor Barba attended to participate in the hooding of her last two students at BU: Anush Krishnan and Christopher Cooper. This was an important day for the graduates and their families. Anush's parents came all the way from India, and Christopher's parents flew in from Chile!

Anush and Christopher defended their PhD in December 2014. They both have started excellent new jobs: Anush as a CFD engineer at Exa Corp. and Christopher as faculty of mechanical engineering at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María in Valparaíso, Chile (where both he and Prof. Barba did undergraduate studies).
